Biography

Meram Salim Shekh Mohamad is currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at Lebanese French University, where she joined in September 2021. She is a valued faculty member within the English Department of the College of Education and Languages. Meram completed her Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature at Salahaddin University-Erbil. She went on to obtain her Master’s Degree from Soran University.


Before pursuing her master’s studies, Meram gained valuable experience as the Student Life Coordinator and Activity Coordinator at Soran International School, managed by Sabis. Additionally, she served as a Liaison Officer at the Centre for Languages and Academic Development (CLAD) and held the position of Public Communicator at the Kurdistan Center for Gender Studies/Soran University. Meram’s passion for education and leadership is evident in her role as a board member and director at Kodo Educational Foundation-Soran.


During the period from October 2015 to June 2018, Meram also contributed as a Professional Translator with the Soran University Website team, showcasing her proficiency in translation.


Overall, Meram Salim Shekh Mohamad’s diverse experiences and educational background make her a valuable asset to the academic community, and she continues to contribute to the field of English language education at Lebanese French University.
